Mourvèdre

Red Wine

A thick-skinned red grape from Spain (Monastrell) and southern France, commonly blended with Grenache and Syrah. In the COLA registry it appears both as a standalone varietal and as a named blending component. U.S. label filings are concentrated in California, where it contributes structure and dark fruit character to Rhône-style blends.
